I just love making pictures, ... It's really kind of magical to have a blank page and have something form itself on the page under your direction. I think it's that process that's keeps it forever interesting.

It seemed so obvious that abusing the power of the page, and that was a phrase that was bandied about, 'the power of the page', that any abuse would be career suicide.
