The award is somewhat problematic for us because we are not greedy for money. For us, this has been a matter of following the contract.

This was a great opportunity to do something that you love to do and get paid for it.

We were going to put this money toward the senior trip but we don't have to worry about luxury on a senior trip when we have people who just lost a father and a husband. And the community lost a firefighter. We thought it would be good of us to do this. It's been a rewarding experience for us.
