Do we still have a government of laws and not of men? Does the law apply to some people with force and ferocity while the powerful are immune? Do we have one set of laws for the officers and another for the enlisted? Should we? These are but a few questions these hearings are intended to explore.

Our power has the grave liability of rendering our theories about the world immune from failure. But by becoming deaf to easily discerned warning signs, we may ignore long-term costs that result from our actions and dismiss reverses that should lead to a re-examination of our goals and means.

I had always acted for fun, and I wanted to do that. I really didn't have the talent. I loved to play, but that's a whole different level.
