Kenny had to read the newspaper to his dad every night. These guys (fathers) were brilliant men but simply had no education. Kenny's dad did not want to be ignorant even if he could not read, so Kenny read that paper to him every day.

If you've really loved a book, or a movie for that matter, really loved it, what you want is that same book again, but as if you've never read it. And when you get something unfamiliar, you feel betrayed.

I love the Plymouth library. I went to the history room and read the book on the 20th century history of Plymouth and thought it was great. I read they were going to do a second book. I hadn't thought about that case in years, but it all came back. I read what was available on it and realized we needed a more balanced treatment.

I don't dictate what humans should read. Only 15-20 percent of men read fiction. The rest don't.
