Mary mitchell

I was looking at the images and role models of women and girls in the media and it's distressing. It seems like our culture is crying out for change. We wanted to offer lots of hands-on activities today because it's such a great way to bond with people.

We worked together the whole time. The whole crew works like a family. Mr. Sheldon made sure I had a home to stay in, and we're all in the house (Mitchell, his father, and Stewart in east Baton Rouge). We've just been sticking together like family. I hadn't heard from some of my family, then I did...everyone's OK now, and so I can rest.

Society and Saint Mary's have both moved forward, but we are still behind.

St. Mary's and Wabash are in one important way very different. Wabash is a college for men; Saint Mary's, of course, a college for women. But both share a respect for students, a commitment to education of the whole person, and a calling of all students to greatness.
