I love the beard. What's it for? A new role?

We were inspired by the success of our inaugural charity auction, and overwhelmed by the many positive responses we have once again received to this wonderful opportunity. We are heartened by the generosity of those who have donated items, and look forward to attracting a new group of fans to Jackie Robinson's living legacy and the work that we do at the Jackie Robinson Foundation.

[Conroy and Robinson are the Pac-10's No. 1 and No. 3 assist men, respectively, and their generosity has created a surprising leading scorer in Simmons, an underexposed sharpshooter who stepped into the starting lineup while Roy was recovering from a meniscus tear in his right knee.] We're like family. We enjoy each other's company off the court, ... And it doesn't feel crowded on the court. You just have to find who's hot at the right time.

We'd love a shot at Oklahoma.

I think it has science-fiction elements, but I would say that overall it's a mystery.
