Spreuken over Familie

All of the Louisiana Tech family grieves over the tragic loss of Shannon. He was a true Tech man - loyal, dedicated and beloved by all that knew him. His big smile, wonderful spirit and tender heart will never be forgotten.

We think it is a simple choice and who we are as a family -- a company -- is to respect the environment. A lot of developers can chose to respect the environment and use green building practices. There are levels of involvement that cost more than others, but some of them are simple design factors. More [developers] are starting to pay attention and consumers are demanding more.

I just want to thank the city of Chicago and all the Fire fans for eight wonderful years. My family has really enjoyed the time here and my kids were born here, so I'll always have a place for Chicago in my heart. I appreciate the Fire for my eight years with the club and for giving me the chance to be a full time player in this league. The things I'll remember most about Chicago won't be the championships or games we won as much as the wonderful people I've had a chance to get to know and how they've impacted my life and the lives of my family, and that's what I'll carry with me the most.

This has been going on for a while. We've helped family after family.

She was so involved in her family?s life and made sure everyone worked hard and strove for the best. She was my best friend in the whole world. A great, caring person is gone now.
