Spreuken over Familie

A lot of people decide the holiday season is a good time to get an additional family member. We're just asking they be responsible.

When we live in communities that are far from extended family, our friends and community become the network of support. One hundred years ago, we would have lived with extended family close so that everyone knew who was going to pitch in and what they would do. Aunt Martha did the baking, and Uncle Fred fixed the plumbing. For most people, it's different now. We're creating our networks of support.

The first thing you always got with Rob was how much he loved his family. I always admired the way he loved his family and how hard he worked and how selfless he was.

We're hollowing the economy out. It's having enormous negative consequences for families and individuals.

We've noted that there are issues and we've been in communication with his family and their representatives. We're working on meeting whatever his needs might be. I'm very confident we're on top of this issue.
