We are indeed proud that the LADWP Science Bowl has grown to become an important annual event attracting some of the nation's most talented and hardworking students and now program alumni. The amount of knowledge and depth of understanding that the students possess is amazing.

Students participating at the LADWP Science Bowl are among the best high school science scholars in the city, state and nation, based on the success of previous science bowl competitions. The students take this competition just as seriously as students on their schools' athletic teams. Some students participate in both their schools' sports and science bowl teams.
